Government Releases Old Story Testors Releases New Model

UFOs . . . Air Force Squashes Rumors:

An eight-month Air Force investigation into the half-century-old UFO incident concludes that whatever hit the ground near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947 was NOT a flying saucer. Instead, says the 25-page report made public today, it was just a U.S. weather balloon. More specifically, a once top-secret balloon designed to monitor the atmosphere for evidence of Soviet nuclear tests. True believers may not be convinced: the Roswell incident was the basis of nearly 50 years worth of rumors about secret autopsies on space aliens, U.S. military conspiracies and flying saucer pieces under guard on an air base.

Testors S4-UFO Model:

The Testor Corp. of Rockford, Illinois -- the model airplane company that has annoyed the Pentagon by offering accurate kits of secret government planes -- said today it's fashioning an alien flying saucer under study by the military. Look for the Area S4 UFO-model flying saucer, named for the highly secret U.S. military base in the mountains of Nevada, where, Testor claims, a dozen interstellar spacecraft may be stashed.
